California CSO WEEKEND '03

THE DETAILS

When: April 5th and 6th (Saturday and Sunday)

Where: The CSO at UCLA building - 560 Hilgard Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90024 (for directions see below!)

Arrival Time: 12:00-1:00 pm Saturday

Departure: After lunch Sunday

Why: for fun, food, and Christian Science exploration

Eat lunch (Togos Sandwiches)

Play Frisbee© in Royce Quad

Have Discussion about running a CSO

Eat Dinner (Pizza in Westwood)

Go to Beach

Lecture by Bobby Lewis on beach

Bonfire

Return to CSO building

Game time (ie. Mafia)

10am Church @ 28th Church (Westwood)

BBQ at Asher House (near church)

The address for the LA CSO building is 560 Hilgard Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90024. For specific directions from wherever you are coming from, we recommend MapQuest's driving directions. Otherwise...

General Directions:

For those coming from south and east of Los Angeles

• San Diego and Imperial County: Take I-5 NORTH to 405 (San Diego Fwy) NORTH past LAX to Wilshire Blvd. Exit. At exit split take "East to Westwood" which will merge onto Wilshire Blvd. Go through 3 lights and make a left turn at Glendon Ave. Take your first right (Linbrook) and stay to the left as you follow the curve as it becomes Hilgard Ave. Go past 4 lights until you see the Christian Science Organization on your right, at which point you will take a right onto Strathmore Dr. and your first right will be the gate to enter the CSO building parking lot. Members will welcome you there.
  
  
• Orange County: Take 405 (San Diego Fwy) NORTH past LAX to Wilshire Blvd. Exit.
